How can I order?  
Do you accept advanced ordering?

• Orders can be placed directly on our shop page. If you would prefer to place an order over the phone, give us at call at 215-350-2207.

• We encourage ordering in advance! This guarantees that your order is on our list.   

• We accept pre-orders for Friday -Monday.

• We are updating our pre-order process. All orders must be placed at least 2 days in advance. Unfortunately, orders submitted outside of this timeframe will not be accepted.

• Our pick up hours are  9am -3.30pm. See our pick up info page.

Do you ship anything?
If so, what items?

•  ​We ship! We offer FedEx round and two-day shipping.  We are currently shipping non-perishable goods like brownies, cookies, babka and our brownie pie. 

•   East coast orders typically arrive within one  to two days. Orders placed for shipping further away should arrive within three days. 

Do you create custom cakes?
 

​ We are currently not accepting cake orders

What is Second Daughter
known for?

Second Daughter is best know for brownies.  In 2021, we received Philadelphia Magazine's award for "Best of Philly".
But don't just take their word for, come in and try it for yourself! 

We make an assortment of pastries and smalls goods made from scratch using the best quality ingredients.

We pridefully source our produce, dairy, eggs, cheese and flowers from local farms and distributors. We sourced from vendors whose values and sustainable growing practices align with our own.

Do you sell at farmers markets?
what pastries can I expect to see?

We are currently participating in the Rittenhouse farmers market on Tuesdays. 

You can expect to find an array of single items. We try to rotate through our menu to offer variety of seasonal goods both savory and sweet. Never fear, brownies and brown butter chocolate chip jawns will always be there until they sell out.  
We do our best to incorporate a new special every other week.
